Emily Cuadra
Board Member
For over a decade, Emily has supported SCP by promoting the organization’s mission and vision. Now, she is thrilled to continue her support by joining the board in 2025. Emily’s interest in SCP stems back to her degree in Anthropology, and her research in how the justice system shapes society’s views of those incarcerated. Emily wrote her college thesis on the ways in which incarcerated mothers defied social expectations to be their own versions of “good” mothers. Aside from her interest in the justice system, Emily has experience in philanthropy through grant writing and participating on three boards in Seattle. Emily has also worked in education at a private school in Seattle for the last eleven years. She is a Seattle native and a mom to two awesome kids.
