 EXPERIENTIAL EDUCATION

The Seattle Clemency Project partners with academic institutions such as the University of Washington and Seattle University to support our clients and pro bono attorneys with relevant legal research. We also host student interns who learn about the criminal justice system while receiving school credit.

Channing Reeves

Channing Reeves is a recent graduate of the Law, Societies, and Justice program at the University of Washington. She learned about the Seattle Clemency Project through her professor at UW and interned with SCP for the summer of 2019.

Channing was inspired by Seattle Clemency Project’s mission of providing second chances to individuals involved with the criminal justice system. She believes all persons have the ability to be rehabilitated, and these individuals deserve the opportunity to flourish outside of institutional walls.
